Soccer!

On the weekend went to a live soccer match. Hertha vs Schalke. Meaning Berlin as Hertha and schalke as Gelsenkirchen. My mum go's for schalke because of its goalkeeper and because she was born in Gelsenkirchen.

Schalke won 2 : 0.

  1. Wow you have been busy Catalina!
You are pretty clever for doing such lovely running writing!
We love the picture bears and all the funny poses you have been donig with them.
The boys think the currywurst sausage looks delicious! We think you should bring some home with you to share.
The kids were excited about the fun park you visited. Some of them have tried the bungy jump before and think its a lot of fun.
Brendan wants to know if you liked the big slide? And Sophie wants to know how you felt when you were on the big slide. Did you feel sick?
Arwyn wants to know if you enjoyed ice skating? And also how you moved on the ice? Miss Trott thinks you are very brave for ice skating, she would have been scared of falling over.
We have just had Halloween here too. Is it a popular holiday in Germany and do kids go trick or treating and get dressed up?
Mr Casey is interested in the Soccer game. He wants to know if it was very loud?
What has been your favourite thing that you have posted about lately?
Miss Trott is very, VERY excited because Mrs Waters had her baby. She had a boy and named him Albert. He is sooooooooo cute! Miss Trott has had big cuddles with him and gave him his first horse and pair of cowboy boots.

That is all for now Cat.
We miss you lots but we enjoy your blog posts!
    Lots of love,
    1/2T & Miss T & Mr Casey

  3. This is your Grandma writing, Cati. I can't remember how to sign in properly, but I'm not really anonymous. What a host of exciting things you have done since you left England. I'm not too sure about back flips while doing a bungee jump!!! It is raining all the time here; looking forward to seeing some snow instead at Christmas?????!

    Love, Grandma x x x

  4. Hi Cat!
We are very excited because we received a parcel from Germany in the post today! We opened the post bag and found a Christmas present for us. But Miss Trott told us we couldn't open it yet and we had to put it under our class Christmas tree.
We have Christmas decorations up in our classroom (you know Miss Trott LOVES Christmas) and we are going to start doing Christmas things very soon. The kids are excited because we might do some cooking and maybe even some sewing.
Miss Trott has been working very hard on our reports and is glad they are almost finished.
At the end of the term the school is having a Christmas concert. We have been learning a song to sing at the concert it is called Love All Around by Hi-five.
We are also doing a Michael Jackson dance for fun with 1/2K and the teachers think we might try a flash mob in the bottom playground.
We have been doing Shelter projects and we visited Thalgarrah. We got to slide down a hill on our bottoms and jump across the river. We did a really long bush walk and saw some animals like antlions.
It is hot and sticky here now and there are lots of thunderstorms and flies. Is it cold over there?
We had better go because it is storming right now!!
We hope you and you family are well.
Sending our love and thanks again for the present, we will open it later in the term.
Love 1/2T and Miss Trott xoxo
